I have been very remiss

In not updating this for a while. I apologize.

My old neighbors came and visited me. It was so great to see them. It was crowded having 4 people in my apartment, but in a good way. It is amazing how many more dishes, towels, everything, 4 people go through. I have never ran the dishwasher so much in my life. But it was good chaos. We went to Canada's Wonderland and rode the roller coasters, which was fun. Tried a few new restaurants around here, and explored. We went to the CN Tower at night. That was cool seeing the city with all the lights. And we played lots of cards.

Been working a lot. I got a massage Thursday and have bruises from him. Not happy about that. Went swing dancing Friday. My furniture is here (scheduled to be delivered tomorrow), so I painted my bedroom this weekend. I didn't get everything done that I wanted, but I can do the rest after the furniture arrives. I got the base color up and the headboard painted. I painted silver all the way to the ceiling. I LOVE IT!!! I post pictures after the furniture arrives.

But I forgot that I am in an apartment now and do not have the storage shed I used to have. I bought my beautiful silver paint without thinking that it might not be latex (I always have paint thinner at home, so why bother checking?). I opened the can and it smelled different than the other paint I had been using all weekend - better. It still didn't register. It was about halfway through painting, when I looked at the silver pain on my hand that I realized, this is probably oil-based. I looked at the label and, sure enough. So, I get to look like the tin man until I can go buy paint thinner tomorrow.

Boy am I glad I work from home.
