Boy was I wrong. I went to the bank to get the big check, then to the lawyer and got everything signed. Figured the rest of the day would be spent working and relaxing. I don't know how much I can say since this issue is not resolved, but let's just say the movers are supposed to come today and the contract they have (with my signature) is not the contract I signed. Lawyers are involved.
I'll write more after my stuff arrives.
